Whitney Houston: Crack Is Back
Crack may be whack, but that isn't stopping Whitney Houston from getting her smoke on. When the famous R & B crooner sang "I Will Always Love You," there's a good chance she was referring to hard drugs and booze. The 47-year-old singer is currently in outpatient rehab, and her relapse is so serious even ex-husband Bobby Brown is concerned. You know it's bad when even the troubled New Edition idiot is worrying that "she might not pull through." Although initial reports maintained that Houston's issues had nothing to do with drugs and alcohol, her rep said that's exactly why she's undergoing treatment. Sources say she's cracking up. An insider tells Radaronline.com, "Whitney is doing crack again. It's the worst it's ever been. Whitney went on tour again, and that's when the relapse occurred." Brown confided in one source and told the person that "Whitney's shutting a lot of people out of her life. It is a dire situation." Houston also has a problem with burning bridges these days. She's apparently pissed off Prince and his people for abusing her star privileges. In fact, TMZ is reporting she's been banned from the artist's shows after attending several of his concerts while "intoxicated." Not only was she a hot mess, but she also kept pressuring Prince's peeps to allow her to perform alongside him. However, her pleas fell upon deaf ears because his people "didn't want her to embarrass herself." The source says that Houston's nutty behavior and excessive ticket demands have made her persona non grata among the Purple One's peeps.
