After dumping girlfriend Jennifer Aniston, John Mayer is attempting to take the high road by raving about what an awesome catch the Friends actress is. What a guy! This leads us to speculate as to why he would dump her if she is so awesome. Luckily, the 30-year-old singer also covered that topic in his heart-to-heart with a group of paparazzi, according to Us Magazine. Mayer described the end of he and Aniston's May-September romance as the "most normal thing in the world." However, the publicity-loving playboy wanted to take the opportunity to defend his former lady love. Although Aniston, 39, has remained mum on the reasons behind the split, Mayer maintains there was no lying and no cheating involved. The word on the streets is that Aniston was ready for marriage and children, while Mayer was not. Aniston surely learned this time around that robbing the cradle may get you a baby, just not the kind you?re wanting.
