The Hollywood Boxing Federation is making two of Tinseltown's names an offer they probably will refuse. According to Radaronline.com, CEO Damon Feldman has offered Mark Wahlberg and Will Smith a whopping $1 million each to come out swinging in a celebrity boxing match. Of course, both actors probably don't get out of bed for less than that, but who's counting? Feldman would like to see the two Hollywood heavyweights duke it out on February 26, 2011. But we're already placing bets that it ain't gonna happen. Feldman apparently has high hopes that he can recruit Smith, who starred in Ali, and Wahlberg, who's currently starring in The Fighter. He's apparently trying to appeal to the actors' philanthropic sides, "This will be a great opportunity for both stars to fight in the Superbowl of Hollywood boxing and to donate millions to their favorite charities. Both guys have trained with professional boxers. Will Smith played Muhammad Ali in Ali and was phenomenal. Wahlberg is currently playing Mickey Ward in The Fighter. Come on, I really think that this would be a huge event and great way for them to donate to their favorite charities." Unlike other bouts, this one would be three one-minute rounds. Feldman, who would obviously love the kind of attention that would come from this kind of match, explains that it would be more of a recreational thing, "We don't think these two are going to rip each other's heads off. We're just hoping they get into the ring and have a little fun duking it out." In the past other contestants have included Jose Canseco, Rodney King, Michael Lohan and Danny Bonaduce, so don't expect to see Wahlberg and Smith in the ring in this lifetime.
