Another PR Nightmare for Gibson
Black Swan DUI GQ Jewish Mel Gibson Winona Ryder antiSemitism gay homophobia

It seems like once Mel Gibson gets out of the frying pan, he jumps right back into the fire. In an interview with GQ magazine to promote her new movie, Black Swan, Winona Ryder shared a story about the ever-so-charming actor and his anti-Semitic proclivities. She tells the magazine, "I remember, like, fifteen years ago, I was at one of those big Hollywood parties. And he was really drunk. I was with my friend, who's gay. He made a really horrible gay joke. And somehow it came up that I was Jewish. He said something about 'oven dodgers,' but I didn't get it. I'd never heard that before. It was just this weird, weird moment. I was like, 'He's anti-Semitic and he's homophobic.' No one believed me!" "Oven dodger" of course alludes to the genocide of the Jews under Hitler during World War II. No comment yet from the man who hurled words like "sugartits" at a female police officer during his 2006 DUI arrest and told another that "Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world." Looks like Mel's Passion, or maybe just the bottle, has gotten the best of him again.
