Randy and Evi Quaid spoke to Good Morning America to set the record straight on their wacky antics over the past year or so, and unfortunately, the interview was just as nonsensical as the couple's actions. From skipping out on a pricey hotel bill and resisting arrest to squatting in a home they claimed belonged to them - it did at one point, but they sold it - the erratic couple had a lot to answer for on GMA. Unfortunately, they didn't deliver any coherent reasons for their behavior. Radaronline.com reports that the two, who are hiding out in Vancouver, British Columbia, fear for their safety if they return to Tinseltown. They fear being "whacked" by people trying to off them for financial gain. Evi said the folks conspiring against her and the Brokeback Mountain actor include an estate planner, an accountant and the mafia, all working in force to "take the money" they've earned in their careers. "We are refugees - I mean that's essentially what it is -- Hollywood refugees, seeking to be left alone by the criminals," Evi said. "I genuinely feel like these people are trying to kill us." Randy said those against him "follow us, they tag our cell phone, they hack their computer." The conspiracy theorist continued the tirade, floating theories that Heath Ledger and David Carradine were murdered, and that Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears and Mel Gibson were targeted by the same "evil forces" to bring about their fall from grace. "I think he was drugged," Evi said about Gibson's greatest hits, a.k.a., the recorded threats he made against his baby mama, Oksana Grigorieva. "I think he was slipped a mickey ... to steal his money and ruin him." Surprisingly, the couple denied any mental illness or drug use. They're due in a Santa Barbara courtroom Tuesday to answer charges of illegally squatting in a home they owned in the 1990s.
