Melissa Etheridge Hardly Popular With Ex

Tammy Lynn Michaels doesn't want musical ex Melissa Etheridge to come to her window, but she would like her to come to her rescue... financially speaking. The acrimonious ending to their nine-year relationship doesn't appear to have gotten any better. Since their split last April, Michaels has complained that the breadwinner of the family has left her high and dry. While Etheridge maintains that she continues to pay all of the bills and support the couple's four-year-old fraternal twins, the former Popular star and out-of-work actress is telling a different story, one that involves going hungry on a regular basis. Michaels, 35, took to her blog to voice her concerns over her rising poverty level. She wrote, "when i went to get cash ... just last week ... for the three of us to eat ... nothing ... today i was shopping for birthday decor ... 4th next sunday! ... little cash for lunch? ... nope- not enough funds ... no food ... 'pays all the bills' not entirely true 'pays all the bills she chooses to pay.'" Michaels then goes on to blast her relationship with Etheridge adding, "what the f*** is marriage all about anyway? i thought i did everything i was supposed to do. support support support. love family, be there, love, right? all for naught or have i still everything to learn about love? and that was nothing? or the letting go of this is THEE LESSON of loving. argh." In a final dig, she accuses her ex of being passive aggressive, "She plays the games with her lawyer now by being quiet." Forget bringing her some water. It sounds like Michaels needs some bread, along with a job and a good therapist.
