Texas to Get a Little Sunnier
Jesse James isn't a dead man after all. Much to his delight, Sandra Bullock's philandering ex was awarded physical custody of daughter Sunny. The ruling comes after a bitter fight between James and ex wife/porn star Janine Lindemulder. Although both James and Lindemulder were awarded joint legal custody of the six-year-old, the West Coast Choppers founder was granted permission to take her to Austin, Texas, for the long haul. As it so happens, Austin is where Bullock has laid down her roots with adopted son Louis. Part of the judge's ruling was based on the fact that Sunny has a tight bond with half-brothers, Chandler and Jesse James Jr. The verdict will also place Sunny just a few miles away from her stepmom, who played an integral role in raising her. Lindemulder took the ruling to heart as she had an emotional outburst in the courtroom, crying and screaming "I'll move. I'll move." She even swore that she'd "live in a tent to be beside Sunny." That's a far cry from the $2 million mansion James will reside in. One ray of light for Lindemulder is that Sunny will remain with her until school begins in Texas next month. When TMZ spoke with Lindemulder, she admitted she couldn't provide for Sunny the way James and Bullock can. Perhaps James' attorney said it best in the closing arguments last week, "She is an admitted drug addict, stripper, criminal and porn actress, who has moved nine times in the past five years. The only stability she has had was when she was in prison for six months." Ouch!
