Another autobiography has emerged from the dregs of the reality show universe, this time from former Playboy model and Hef girlfriend-turned-reality-star Kendra Wilkinson. Before her life went to heaven in a Hank Baskett, things weren't so easy for the pinup. In her new autobiography, Sliding into Home, Kendra divides her life into four parts, or bases...apropos for someone who made a sex tape then got naked for a magazine: her childhood is first base, teenage years are second base, her Playboy era third, and finally, life with her husband and son is "home." Kendra started taking drugs, particularly meth, at age 13 after her father left, and she became an underage stripper after that, all the while doing drugs. She details multiple suicide attempts, cutting herself and even a stay in a mental hospital during her teen years. That may explain her reasons for applying to be a model at a Playboy event when she was 18...during which she was asked and accepted the role as one of Hef's girlfriends. The rest is history, as detailed on The Girls Next Door. Now that Kendra's "home," maybe she'll finally stop running her mouth...and pen.
