United Airlines Tells Actor to Take a Hike

Jonathan Rhys Meyers should stick to trains and automobiles because it appears the Tudors actor can't get his act together when it comes to flying the friendly skies. The libation-loving drunk is in hot water yet again over a recent incident that transpired at JFK airport involving Meyers' penchant for flying under the influence. The frequently rehabbed Irish idiot was allegedly chugging vodka like a Russian before 7 a.m. He quickly became belligerent when flight officials refused to let him board the flight to Los Angeles because he was so intoxicated. Rhys Meyers was so pissed and so peeved that he dropped the "n" bomb, according to Radaronline.com. The actor has since been banned from flying on United Airlines. And this is hardly the first time he's had this issue. In 2007, he was arrested in a Dublin airport for being drunk, although the charges never came to fruition as he checked into rehab. Last year, Meyers were arrested for assaulting workers in a bar at the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. Meyers would do well to keep his head low and his feet on the ground for awhile.
