Sarah Palin's new show Real American Stories will air on Fox News (naturally) Thursday, but one story that will be missing is that of James Todd Smith, aka LL Cool J. He was originally featured in the promos for the show but didn't give his permission. The rapper was incensed to see his likeness included in the show and took to Twitter to air his displeasure. "Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else and are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palin's show...WOW," he wrote. Fox pulled the rapper's profile from the show...after issuing a condescending statement to TV Newser: "As it appears that Mr. Smith does not want to be associated with a program that could serve as an inspiration to others, we are cutting his interview from the special and wish him the best with his fledgling acting career." Snark - how inspirational! For the record, LL has been in the acting biz since 1996, according to his IMDB profile. Palin's show supposedly features "real-life tales of overcoming adversity" and showed clips of former GE exec Jack Welch and Toby Keith, whose publicist also said he did not consent to being shown on the show.
