Pineapple Express Makes Ivy League Stop

James Franco is sleeping his way to the top. Kind of. The Milk actor is finishing up a master's of fine arts at Columbia University - during which he's been caught napping in class - and now he's seeking the title of Dr. Franco. The actor and budding writer has been accepted to Yale for his Ph.D. program and likely will begin coursework in the fall. While he hasn't officially signed on the dotted line, his rep says, "[James] loves Yale and it is more than likely his first choice." English literature and creative writing seem to be his chosen fields of study, and he recently became a published author - his short stories will appear in Esquire magazine this month. The magazine published a sneak peek of the collection, and let's just say...it's a good thing he's pretty.
