Harrelson Hardly Over the Hemp

It wasn't Bjork's swan dress, but Woody Harrelson's dashing duds had enough of a story behind them to make headlines. Nominated for Best Supporting Actor, Hollywood veteran Harrelson used the Academy Awards to make a fashion statement about (what else) -- marijuana. The Messenger actor was flying high as he donned a black Burberry tuxedo designed out of hemp. Ryan Seacrest made the announcement while working the red carpet. Not that it should come as a shocker, seeing how the 48-year-old thespian is a major advocate for reforming marijuana and hemp laws. While Inglourious Basterds star Christopher Waltz walked away with the Best Supporting Actor at the Academy Awards, Harrelson was all the buzz at the Independent Spirit Awards where he picked up the prize for the same category. White men can't jump, but they can wear hemp quite well.
