A Sad Tale of Two Taylors

It appears the two Taylors are no longer one. Country singer Taylor Swift and Twilight hottie Taylor Lautner have called it quits after just three months of casual dating. While fans had painted the romance to be an epic one, insiders say that there was never really a spark to begin with. A source told UsMagazine.com that the heavily hyped relationship was going nowhere fast, "It wasn't really developing into anything, and wasn't going to, so they decided they were better as friends. There was no chemistry." Despite the lack of that certain je ne sais quoi, the genetically blessed couple have been spotted out and about, usually with an adult chaperone. After all, guy Taylor is a mere 17 years old, while gal Taylor is the older woman at 20. The relationship apparently went kaput earlier this month when Lautner flew to Nashville to make a Swift appearance at his girl's birthday bash, but apparently his efforts were in vain. The source says, "He liked her more than she liked him. He went everywhere he could to see her, but she didn't travel much to see him." The source add that there are no hard feelings, which is good considering they both need to promote their upcoming film Valentine's Day, a romantic comedy.
