Zach Braff's Brush with Death
SPONSORED:
If you think Dr. John Dorian has been admitted to Sacred Heart's morgue, think again. An Internet rumor reported that Scrubs star Zach Braff met his untimely demise by overdosing on pills, but the star himself is giving us proof that he's still alive and kicking with a characteristically funny - and very much alive - message on YouTube, assuring his fans and family that he's fine. A fan of Braff's, Chris Laganella, created a fake CNN page that reported the actor's death and posted it to his Web site in 2007 to play a joke on his friends. He never took it down, and somehow, two years later, someone found it. The hoax soon became the second-highest trending Twitter topic, and gossip outlets like PerezHilton.com were reporting it. Braff seemed to take it well, other than calling Laganella a "douche" for scaring his mom and costar Donald Faison, who makes a cameo in the video, singing "an R&B version of 'Wind Beneath My Wings'" - Braff's special request for his funeral when the time really does come.
