Not a Good Morning for Jon Gosselin
SPONSORED:
After stepping out with a bevy of bimbos, going on lavish shopping sprees with his children's hard-earned income and buying an upscale bachelor pad in New York City, Jon Gosselin has finally decided to do some damage control now that his reputation is completely in the crapper. Unfortunately, it appears his efforts are too little, too late. He's already sat down with In Touch and a host of other gossip tabloids to try and get his side of the story out there, but it appears his whining has fallen upon deaf ears. In an attempt to recruit members for Team Jon, he took to Good Morning America this time around to proclaim that he was abused by soon-to-be-ex-wife, Kate Gosselin. He tells ABC, "I took a lot of abuse from her. I was put down. She'll call me like, almost like a lame fish. Like I wasn't going anywhere. Well, excuse me, I'm taking care of the kids. She's on book tours, she's doing all these things. You know, she's gone a week. You know, comes back. Packs up and leaves again. I'm standing there like, 'Oh, OK. Your mom's gone again." The douchebag dad of eight obviously spent many nights alone in their $1.1 million estate, crying himself to sleep. Woe is him. In addition to the "poor me" story, he also defended his actions regarding a recent situation between he and Kate where the police were called in to intervene. Says Jon, "I wouldn't let her in the gate. I said I'm spending time with my kids ... and she's going to have to leave and she tried to cry it up with the cops and it didn't work and they told her she had to leave." Talk about manning up! Well played, Jon -- now you've gone from looking like a dumb dad to a petulant child.
