Lil Wayne: You Snooze, You Lose

Partying like a rock star may set rap star Lil Wayne back some serious bucks. The modern-day Rip Van Winkle is being sued for almost half million dollars for sleeping one off in his swank hotel room while he was supposed to be performing a concert. Red City Entertainment maintains that Lil Wayne owes them a grand total of $432,000. The rapper had received an advance of $210,000 to perform in the Bahamas last September. To the organizer's dismay, the rowdy rocker never showed up. In fact, cops were sent out to his hotel room where he was found unconscious. In addition to being reimbursed for selling out, Red City also wants retribution for hotel expenses and various other costs that came with organizing the event. Sure he could invest in an alarm clock, but we doubt there's a wake-up call in this world that would have brought him out of his deep, drug-or-alcohol induced slumber.
