Bobbi Kristina's Intervention A Bust
The family of Bobbi Kristina Brown is rallying around the troubled 19-year-old in a last-ditch effort to get her off drugs and alcohol. But according to Star magazine, their efforts are in vain. Even before the death of famed singer Whitney Houston, daughter Bobbi Kristina was on the road to self-destruction with drugs and alcohol. In the past, she has been photographed snorting cocaine. Since Houston's passing in February, sources say that Bobbi Kristina has continued her wild ways. Her use of alcohol, marijuana and prescription pills has gotten so bad her loved ones "held an intervention recently." A source tells Star, "Everyone is worried sick about Krissy ... her aunt Pat got a number of her friends and family to come to Atlanta and have a serious talk with her about her sobriety. There were lots of tears, but Bobbi Kristina didn't listen." Friends and family fear the young girl will follow in her mother's footsteps. They have even gotten Houston's mentor Clive Davis involved, hoping he can bribe her with a career if she sobers up. The insider adds, "Clive keeps telling Bobbi she needs to go to rehab, and that if she does, he'll help launch her music career. He's doing everything he can." Unfortunately, that very bribe wasn't enough to keep Bobbi Kristina's mother alive.
