It's a Boy for Charlize Theron

Charlize Theron just welcomed her first son, a baby named Jackson. According to People magazine, a source reveals the 36-year-old Young Adult actress "has been trying to adopt a baby for a long time." Like fellow single moms Sandra Bullock and Denise Richards, the Oscar-winning actress is doing it on her own. Theron split from her boyfriend of nine years Stuart Townsend back in 2010. Although the process may have taken time, the insider says Theron stayed positive. The source adds that Theron "has been very patient and has a great attitude. [She] is ecstatic about finally becoming a mom." Bullock is also looking to expand her family. Radaronline.com is reporting that the 47-year-old mom of little Louis is pursuing another child via adoption. Bullock has already completed the paperwork for yet another adoption to give her only son a sibling. A source tells Radaronline.com: "Sandra has always planned to have more than one child. She feels that now is a good time for a new baby to be welcomed into the family. Louis is a little young to understand that he is going to be a big brother, but Sandy is trying to get him ready for the transition. It took her about 18 months to finally get Louis, and there is no time table as to when she will get the second child. Sandy's adoption lawyer has told her it could take up to a year to complete the process. She doesn't care whether or not it's a boy or girl. She just wants a healthy baby." Bullock will have plenty to celebrate this time around because there will be no philandering husband to rain on her new baby parade.
