Celebri-dates to events like proms, Marine Corps Balls and other big fetes are starting to become commonplace, with stars like Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis agreeing to escort the little people who made them big stars. It's Taylor Swift's turn to return the favor to one of her fans, and she's doing it in a big way. Swift had to turn down an 18-year-old leukemia sufferer, Kevin McGuire, when he asked the songstress to escort him to his New Jersey prom. However, she more than made up for the schedule conflict. She posted to her Facebook page, "Kevin I'm so sorry but I won't be able to make it to your prom," Swift posted on her Facebook page. "But I was wondering, the ACM Awards are coming up. Would you be my date?" McGuire, who battling his second bout of leukemia, first diagnosed when he was 13, gave her a resounding yes, of course. He tells the Philadelphia Inquirer, "Obviously I said yes. The ACM Awards is a lot better than the senior prom." McGuire will clear his calendar for April 1 and head to Las Vegas to hang out with Swift, who could take home serious hardware - along with some good karma - that evening. Swift is nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year and Video of the Year.
