She's conquering the world one mishap at a time. This time the publicly-ridiculed poptart is in the spotlight for a five-finger discount. And we're not talking high-priced merchandise. Britney was caught on camera stealing a cigarette lighter from a Chevron gas station. When informed by a stalkerazzi that she hadn't paid for the lighter, Spears replied: "I stole something. Oh, I'm bad!" Lucky for Brit, not everyone is out to get a piece of her. The store owner, Jatiner Kaur, told People.com. "Yes, Britney stole a blue lighter here last night. The lighter is $1.39. I'm hoping maybe the next time she comes back she will pay for it. "I know she can afford to pay for it, but I'm not planning to file a police report. It's still not right for her to steal the lighter. I hope she will do the right thing the next time she comes here." It's not the first time Britney's been accused of having sticky fingers. In November, she supposedly walked out with a wig from Hustler without paying for it. Even more recently, it's said that she stole four coats from designer Katja Berglund, who later denied the rumor explaining that the coats were a gift. Brit's right. Why pay for things when you can steal them? Her money could much better me spent on say, Starbucks, cigarettes, alcohol and drugs.
