Cox and Arquette: Friends Til the End

Anyone hoping for a romantic reconciliation between David Arquette and Courteney Cox is going to be disappointed. The former Dancing with the Stars contestant confirmed to Howard Stern that he and his estranged wife are finished for good. Although the couple are still BFFs, Arquette maintains that ship has sailed. The 40-year-old Scream 4 actor is serious about new galpal Christina McLarty, a reporter for Entertainment Tonight. Stern put Arquette on the spot asking him bluntly, "If Courteney said to you, 'David, I made a mistake I want to work on our marriage. I want you moving back into the house, I want you to break up with that girl. I know we have to do this for our daughter.' Would you consider it?" Obviously, Arquette knows where his bread is buttered, as he candidly replied, "Uh, I mean, no." Arquette added that telling Cox his feelings for McLarty was far from easy. He recalls, "She was sad, we were both sad. We both cried." It looks like it's friends until the end for the former couple.
