Portman's Poor Penn-manship

Oscar winner Sean Penn and estranged wife Robin Wright Penn may be calling it quits, but their split has nothing to do with actress Natalie Portman. The brunette beauty wants people to know that despite rumors, she's not the other woman. Hardly one to milk her relationship with 48-year-old Penn for more than it's worth, the 27-year-old is going to great lengths to set the record straight. After months of speculation surrounding their relationship, Portman released the following statement to Extra, "Sean Penn is a friend and colleague. The reports that we are romantically involved are completely untrue. I normally do not respond to rumors about my private life, however, this repeatedly fabricated story has forced me to do so." Her denials come on the heels of speculation that she was seen in a West Hollywood bar swapping spit with her fellow judge on the 2008 Cannes Film Festival.
