Even after the death of her husband, reality star Taylor Armstrong is still taking a beating. The folks in the camp of the late Russell Armstrong would like you to believe that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is money hungry and willing to stop at nothing to earn a buck. And while both of those things might be true, Russell's peeps would also like you to believe she's only playing the victim. Among her dastardly deeds -- recently selling photos of herself looking bruised and battered to Entertainment Tonight for six figures. However, Russell Armstrong's lawyer maintains the injuries did not happen at the cold, callous hands of his dead client, who's repeatedly been accused of domestic abuse by the women in his life. TMZ is reporting that Ronald Richards is claiming that the sickening bruises were either a result of plastic surgery or a football to the face. It's kind of ironic because a "football to the face" is exactly the kind of excuse a battered woman would use to hide domestic violence. Richards revealed to TMZ, "If Mr. Armstrong was the cause of those injuries, he would have been arrested and prosecuted." He also points out that the reality star never filed a police report. And if she didn't go to the cops, then surely she wasn't beaten. Right? Of course, Taylor's peeps are defending the blonde bombshell and saying that she didn't turn her estranged husband in because she didn't want to get the boot from the Bravo reality show. Even more frightening is that one insider says the photos that didn't run on E.T. are even more devastating and make the infamous Rihanna abuse photos "look like child's play."
