Last night's premiere of Dancing with the Stars held some surprises for its contestants...most of all, Chaz Bono, who proved he had the moves to compete. Dubbed "Razzmatazz Chaz" by judge Len Goodman, the transgendered contestant and his partner, Lacey Schwimmer, delivered a winning cha cha that earned them a respectable 17 points, ahead of competitors such as Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke, Nancy Grace and Tristan McManus, and Elisabetta Canalis and Val Chmerkovskiy, who barely edged out the last-place finishers, Ron Artest and Peta Murgatroyd, who earned a disappointing 14 points. Bono told host Brooke Burke, "I've gotten so much support and I really wanted to do a good job for the people supporting me. [Physically it's] pretty challenging, but it's fun, and I'm really having the time of my life!" And like last season, the security detail on the set of DWTS is earning its paycheck. Last year, the show provided extra security for Bristol Palin after an anthrax threat; this year, sources tell TMZ that ABC is offering the same for Bono, suspecting "crazies" of wanting to harm the guy.
