Joaquin Takes His Act on the Road
SPONSORED:
After an embarrassing appearance on Letterman that was famously mocked by Ben Stiller at this year's Oscars, Joaquin Phoenix obviously searched hard for a way to upstage the spoof. Thursday morning's South Beach "concert," which started almost four hours late, was his response. Proving that the only thing you can expect from the Oscar-nominated actor is the unexpected, the retired thespian spiced up his new shtick -- mumbling, smoking, cursing, yelling and jumping into the crowd to confront an audience member for good measure. Attendees were treated to a first-class meltdown when the wannabe hip-hop star was heckled by a fan who apparently did like what Phoenix had to "say." Phoenix lashed out at the person, calling him a "double expletive," and boasted about his cash flow, according to the Associated Press. He then dove into the crowd to go after the person. Security moved in and dragged Phoenix out of the club, abruptly ending the show. Looks like someone is working hard to convince people that he's a real baller. Of course, Casey Affleck's crew was there filming the entire spectacle for his documentary, proving Phoenix's show is far from over. Check out the clip from the show at your own risk ? it definitely contains graphic language:
