Scientology School Split Lopez, Anthony

While Marc Anthony's controlling personality reportedly was to blame for his split with Jennifer Lopez, it looks like the American Idol judge was trying to control the family's spiritual well being. The Daily Mail reports that while Lopez grew up in a traditional Catholic family, Jenny from the Block got bi-curious about another religion as she befriended its high-profile members. The Mail reports that Lopez's desire to send 3-year-old twins Max and Emme to a Scientology school caused a rift between her and Anthony. A source said, "Jennifer and Marc couldn't see eye-to-eye on the subject. She's always been more into the church than him. He wasn't a huge fan and it caused problems." J. Lo counts such church bigwigs as the Cruises and Leah Remini among her BFFs, and sources speculate that she's more into the church than she lets on. But in order to retain her largely Catholic Hispanic audience, Lopez has just dabbled in the ritzy religion. Now that the divorce is in full swing, however, it's possible we may see the "On the Floor" singer dive head-on into Dianetics.
