LC Heading for Other Hills

Lauren Conrad is saving the drama for her mama. The famous for being infamous 20-something is turning off the waterworks for good at the end of The Hills'season five. That means viewers searching for their superficial fix will have to search elsewhere... like, eh, Whitney Port's spin-off, The City. The reality star-turned-fashion designer has enjoyed a long run after receiving her own show following her role as Orange County's biggest crybaby on the MTV breakout show Laguna Beach. So get ready to bid a fond farewell to L.C., Audrina, Lo, Heidi, Spencer and all of your other favorite fakers. L.C. told Seventeen magazine: "My biggest thing with the show was that I wanted to walk away from it while it's still a great thing." If that's the case, it was over before it even began. Conrad should be grateful she was able to parlay her 15 minutes of fame far above and beyond.
