What the Chuck: Charlie Thanks Ashton
So much for any hard feelings between Charlie Sheen and Ashton Kutcher. The fired Two and a Half Men star is actually issuing a public thanks to his replacement via TMZ. Sheen maintains that if the Punk'd creator hadn't taken the cushy job on the popular CBS sitcom, then he wouldn't have been able to kick-start his career. Obviously, this is where the damage from drug and alcohol abuse comes in. What the 45-year-old recovering addict fails to realize is that Sheen was at the top of his game as the leading man on Men. He wouldn't have needed a comeback if he hadn't had suffered a series of coke-and-hooker related meltdowns. Sheen says he's also seeing the light when it comes to his character's upcoming funeral, which leaves no room for a return. Says Sheen, "I have always been told that I have 9 lives, so it is going to be amazing to witness my own funeral which is clearly a win/win situation because Ashton has just given me a 10th." Sheen obviously feels that he will be in a much better place on his new television project, Anger Management. Based on his comments, it looks like it's working already.
