Ever wondered why Coldplay's Chris Martin is such a brooding lad? Maybe it's because the singer has problems coming up with original material. Apparently, guitar phenom Joe Satriani wants to "talk" to Coldplay and it may cause the band to feel a bit yellow when it's all said and done. Satriani wants Coldplay to viva without la vida, the hit song made famous by the Apple iTunes campaign. Satriani has filed a lawsuit against Coldplay, accusing the British band of ripping off a large part of his 2004 tune "If I Could Fly," which sounds eerily similar to Coldplay's hit "Viva la Vida." As restitution, Satriani not only wants a huge payoff, but also a moratorium that prevents Coldplay from performing or releasing the song in the future. Months ago, Creaky Boards also accused Coldplay of stealing from their song "The Songs I Didn't Write." The real question would be whose song is it?
