The family of the late Marlon Brando's is waging a war over his remains. The ashes of the Apocalypse Now actor are in the possession of a woman who was involved with Marlon's son, Christian. Unfortunately, Christian died suddenly of pneumonia in 2008. At the time, Donna Lopez Geon ended up with a bunch of Christian's stuff, including the ashes of his late father. Although a few other people were given some of Marlon's ashes, Christian's mom Anna Kashfi wants back what she believes is rightfully hers. In fact, she's filed papers in the LA County Superior Court to ensure she gets back all that remains of Marlon. In addition, Kashfi also goes on to say that as the executor of Christian's estate she's also entitled to her son's St. Christopher's medal. Geon tells TMZ that she's doesn't plan on returning anything. And she also bids them good luck, considering she went ahead and spread Marlon's ashes. Says Geon, "Christian wasn't close with his family and wouldn't have wanted his mother or anyone else to have his property when he died. When I found out they were coming after the property, I took some of the ashes I have and spread them in Franklin Canyon [in Beverly Hills] ... Marlon loved that place." It's unlikely a court order will be able to rectify the situation if that is the case. TMZ reports that Marlon's ashes were also spread in Tahiti and Death Valley by others.
