Many reps use "food poisoning" as a cover-up for celebs abusing drugs or alcohol. However, it appears singer Tone Loc's mouthpiece is taking the excuse to a whole new level, only it may be to hide a serious medical condition. The aging rapper attended a charity event at the Laugh Factory last night when he appeared to have a seizure. Several eyewitnesses tell TMZ that the 46-year-old musician started flailing in his seat. He then fell on the floor and was "gasping" for air. Loc's companions patted him down with cold water. According to TMZ, 911 was called, but Loc bounced back so quickly the ambulance was cancelled. Loc supposedly split following the alleged seizure and is at home resting. But here's where the whole thing gets fishy. Loc's manager tells TMZ there was no seizure -- he simply got sick from bad food. That happens to be the same line that the rep fed to the media when the singer was pulled over for DUI last year. As for Loc, he may be the only one in touch with reality. When he was busted for DUI, he told police he suffers from seizures. Now, here's the wild thing -- Loc was hospitalized at least twice within the past year for collapsing during his shows.
