Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and daughter Suri are really, really normal. So normal that they plan to show everyone the normalcy of their normal household in a new reality show, a la The Osbournes. The Scientology-loving Cruises have raised eyebrows in the past, whether it's Tom's distaste for prescription drugs, Katie's spaced-out demeanor, or 4-year-old Suri's baby bottle and high-heel shoe addiction. As Tom promoted his current film, Knight and Day, he filmed himself and costar Cameron Diaz just messing around. Showbiz Spy reports that he planned to use the short spoofs online for his loyal fans, but that he's now received offers to turn the videos into a full series, which gave him the idea of filming his family. "They want to portray themselves as a normal family who do normal things," a source told Britain's Grazia magazine. They are aware that Katie is being perceived as 'brainwashed' and they want to change that." Word is that Cruise has about a month's worth of footage of his wife and child going about their daily business, and he's simply looking for the right deal. But as with most anything in his life, Cruise wants control: "Tom places a premium on control, so he's reluctant to commit to doing a reality TV show unless he's 100 per cent it will reflect him and Katie in the best possible light," said the source.
