Less than two weeks after the death of his beloved father, Captain Phil Harris, another member of the Harris clan featured on the hit Discovery show is making headlines. This time it's son Jake Harris. The 24-year-old was caught red-handed driving under the influence after he got into a car crash and fled the scene. Washington State troopers popped Jake for suspicion of DUI, hit and run, and driving with a suspended license. The police issued the following statement, "Mr. Harris was spotted driving a BMW 3 Series erratically Thursday evening by a citizen in Shoreline, Wa." The car was registered to his father. Harris failed a sobriety test. He was booked at a local jail and his bail was set at $1,500. It's been a tough month for the Harris family. Patriarch Phil passed away suddenly just days after suffering a stroke. The 53-year-old was rushed to the hospital when he apparently had a stroke while unloading crabs.
