Terrence Howard: Iron Mouth

Veteran actor Terrence Howard proved that he's the brave one after leaving a threatening voicemail to a complete stranger. Apparently, the whole thing was one big misunderstanding. Of course, at the end of the day, it's only fueling the fire as he lives up to his reputation for being testy and temperamental. According to Radaronline.com, Howard left the following voicemail for an unknown man saying, "N**ga, you been calling my wife... If you call my wife again I'm going to come to your house and I'm going to cut your f***ing throat. Understand that. I'm gonna tell you this one time. You call my wife again, I'm going to kill you." The voicemail came after a female friend of the stranger used his phone to leave Howard himself a message expressing her undying love for the Hustle and Flow actor. The female friend had gotten her hands on Howard's number from a third party. The nameless man tells Radaronline.com, "Her phone was dead, so she used mine and left about a three-minute voicemail professing her love for him. But apparently the call was made to his wife's phone, not his. I'm assuming she got the voicemail of my friend gushing about Terrence and questioned him about it." It took Howard about a week to find out the real deal, at which point he tried to rectify the situation by calling the man back. Howard left a follow-up message saying, "I'm so sorry for calling you and speaking that way. I thought you were somebody that's been harassing my wife. Please forgive me." For good measure, he also texted the man writing, "My wife told me that she was receiving obscene texts from you and that she was being harassed. Therefore I responded with the protective nature that a husband has for his wife. Forgive me for the anger, but as you are watching over your girl friend, I too am devoted to my love." Of course, the damage was already done as Howard had given the man enough ammunition to make a quick buck by selling his story to Radaronline.com. Although Howard had no comment, the stranger dealt a parting blow when he was asked by Radaronline.com if he had a personal message for the actor. The stranger quoted Howard's Hustle and Flow character saying, "All I have to say is, it's hard out here for a pimp."
