Soft-core purveyor Joe Francis may want to invest in some Beano. The Girls Gone Wild creator was called to a deposition involving a $2 million gambling debt to the Wynn Las Vegas Casino. Not only did the judge order him to pay, but she also tacked on an extra $1 million in court costs and interest. But the fireworks involved Francis's rank behavior during the deposition. Wynn lawyers allege that he improperly asserted his Fifth Amendment rights for even the most innocuous questions, such as when asked if he owned a cell phone or if he spoke English - he even read the amendment off a card his lawyer gave him for that one. But the most offensive aspects of his behavior were silent - but deadly. Wynn lawyers also assert that Francis disrespected the court proceedings with "excessive flatulence." That's right - he farted his way through the deposition. The judge will make her ruling Monday, but at this point, the Wynn lawyers smell victory. Francis also will be tried soon for tax evasion charges in California and possibly a bribery charge in Reno, Nev., for attempting to bribe guards for preferential treatment while in jail on more tax charges. Sounds like the guy is a real gas.
