Nothing compares 2 the drama surrounding troubled Irish singer Sinead O'Connor. Instead of calling 112, Ireland's equivalent to 911, the outlandish singer took to Twitter to cry for help. On Wednesday, O'Connor Tweeted, "i realise i will be in trouble 4 doing this but.. ireland is a VERY hard place to find help in. So having tried other ways 1st im asking does any1 know a psychiatrist in dublin or wicklow who could urgently see me today please? im really un-well... and in danger." She added, "i desperately need to get back on meds today ... am in serious danger." The 45-year-old mom of four wasn't joking. Although she got in touch with psychiatrists, it was only after she tried to kill herself. O' Connor told the Sun, "I took an overdose. God obviously wants me around - though I can't think why." O' Connor hit rock bottom after her 16-day marriage to Barry Herridge. Since the sudden split, the singer has gone even further off the deep end. In addition to her mental instability, O'Connor is also contending with a broken ankle. She told her followers that she couldn't afford to check into a psychiatric hospital because of her family and her career. O' Connor Tweeted, "me dont wanna leave me kids. or f--- up me work. im sorry worrying any1.. is just am sick and ireland s--t for finding help cant think of any other way." O' Connor later followed up with a show of gratuity to those who had reached out to her with recommendations. She wrote, "hey.. wanna thank all SO much for such great help today. have a number of numbers, contacts, etc now and appointments. spoke to some great psych docs u all put me on to, gonna meet a few.. but had go hos as fractured ankle (Good work funny ways). so they wus fab help too.. but u all amazing to send numbers and ideas and i love u all so much for that and am feeling much better."
