Sheen on Rehab: There's No Place Like Home

Screw Betty Ford and all of the other rehab facilities. Troubled actor Charlie Sheen plans on sobering up in the comfort of his own home, the same home where he's been hosting wild porn-and-coke parties over the past six months. Although multiple media outlets reported that the Two and a Half Men star had checked into rehab for at least three months, that's not exactly the case. One insider tells Radaronline.com that the hard-partying actor rebuffed the efforts of family, friends and business associates and plans on staying put for the foreseeable future. Says the source, "Charlie was supposed to go to a rehab facility, but he absolutely refused to go. He is at home now and those close to him are trying to get him to enter a facility, but he doesn't think he has a problem." This, despite being hospitalized after an epic drug bender involving a handful of porn stars and a suitcase full of cocaine. Sheen gave an exclusive statement to Radaronline.com minimizing the situation late last week. He told Senior Editor Dylan Howard, "I'm fine. People don't seem to get it.... Guy can't have a great time and do his job also?" He then called all of the concerned parties a "bunch of turds!" This coming from a man who feasts on an endless buffet of hookers and drugs. Although Sheen's manager Mark Burg told People he had checked into rehab, he never left his gated community. Supposedly, medical experts are coming in to treat Sheen as part of a "compromise." Of course, we're sure Sheen will also have his own "experts" on hand - i.e. escorts and drug dealers. Radaronline.com is also reporting that Sheen's father Martin is looking at the option of pulling a Jamie Spears and attempting to get a conservatorship over the actor, especially given the state of his physical and mental health. Adds the source, "Charlie looks awful... he is very, very depressed and feels like the world is going against him. Charlie's parents are discussing getting a conservatorship of their son. Martin and Janet know that it's highly unlikely their petition would be granted, but they are trying to do whatever possible to save Charlie's life. Charlie is coughing a lot, and he doesn't seem to care what he is doing to his body... Charlie truly thinks he is invincible, and that he can do as much drugs as possible with no ramifications." Every dog has his day, and Sheen is no exception.
