Sad story for controversial actor Ryan O'Neal -- he has been diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer. The troubled reality star went public with the news late last week, telling People magazine, "Although I was shocked and stunned by the news, I feel fortunate that it was detected early, and according to my extraordinary team of doctors, the prognosis is positive for a full recovery." O'Neal is no stranger to the deadly disease. In addition to losing love of his life Farrah Fawcett to anal cancer just a few years ago, O'Neal himself also received treatment for leukemia in the late '90s. The cancer diagnosis is just the latest bad news for the temperamental actor. His OWN reality show Ryan & Tatum: The O'Neals was a major flop. O'Neals son with Farrah Fawcett, Redmond, along with daughter Tatum, are both in rehab, while son Griffin is serving 16 months in prison for getting into a head-on car crash while under the influence of drugs.
