Rosie O'Donnell is in hot water with cancer prevention groups which want to skin the comedienne alive after she expressed her pro-tanning views publicly. The self-proclaimed sun worshipper went on the record saying that she "lives to tan" and that "exposure to the sun isn't dangerous." Tell that to all of the people who have died from skin cancer. Needless to say, her comments got under a lot of people's skin, including those at the Ray Festa Melanoma Foundation. The group called the comments "ill-informed" and "irresponsible." Member Marisa Marchetto debunked O'Donnell's claims saying, "Going out into the sun without protection is as, or even more dangerous, than having unprotected sex." To make amends, the group is calling on O'Donnell to do a public service announcement taking back her statements. We bet a bottle of Hawaiian Tropic that ain't gonna happen.
