Actor Rip Torn can add another mug shot to his resume. Apparently, the alcohol aficionado isn't a big fan of bankers' hours, which has to be the only explanation for Torn breaking into a bank with a loaded gun at 9:40 p.m. Police responded to a tripped alarm where they found the veteran actor "with a loaded revolver and highly intoxicated." According to Connecticut police, Torn is being held on $100,000 cash bond. Among the charges are carrying a pistol without a permit, carrying a firearm while intoxicated, first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespass and third-degree criminal mischief. It's obvious the 78-year-old wants to go out with a bang. In the last few years, he's been arrested for driving under the influence two times. He was also acquitted by a jury for a 2004 drunk driving case.
