An altercation with Betty Ford's most notorious patient has left a healthcare worker jobless and injured...but don't feel too sorry for Dawn Holland yet. It all started when Lindsay and her roommates tried to sneak back into the facility after curfew but were caught and asked to submit to a breathalyzer - the allegations include them being out at a bar, though Lindsay claims she was drinking Shirley Temples and getting her hair done. Holland was summoned to administer the test, and that's when all hell broke loose. She tells TMZ that Lindsay went ballistic, calling 911 and lashing out when Holland got on another house phone to speak with 911 personnel. There are shots of her sporting a wrist splint on TMZ - she said Lindsay sprained it while ripping the phone out of her hand, causing her to go on worker's comp. But because of that very interview, Betty Ford put her on permanent worker's comp - firing her for speaking to TMZ, which violates patient confidentiality rules. Holland has obviously been making media rounds, telling RadarOnline.com that she spoke to TMZ for a cool 10 grand. No word on how much Radar ponied up. Hopefully it's plenty to cover attorney costs - she's bringing charges against Lindsay for battery, while the Mean Girls star claims self-defense. Currently, Holland's ex-husband is seeking a restraining order against Holland for - you guessed it - battery. And the she said, she said exchanges will probably continue...until the price is right for Holland.
