Just a couple of months after being encouraged by a judge to step up his progress in rehab, it appears that addict Redmond O'Neal made a move, but it was definitely in the wrong direction. The troubled son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal found himself arrested on drug charges yet again. But here's the clincher. The 24-year-old had just been granted his first 24-hour family pass where he obviously took advantage of his newfound freedom to do what he does best -- get high. O'Neal was taken into police custody on December 29. The arrest is a violation of his probation. So O'Neal's now looking at as many as six years in prison thanks to the new charges. Trouble started when the staff at the rehab center noticed that O'Neal seemed high when he returned from his family pass. He had supposedly been clean for six months. O'Neal was the sole heir of Fawcett's $4.5 million fortune. It looks like it's going to be a long time before he'll get his hands on those cool millions, although it's sure to buy plenty of commissary when he's wasting away his days in the clink.
