Oscar-nominated actor Michael Clarke Duncan passed away this weekend at the age of 54. The well-respected and well-loved actor never fully recovered from a myocardial infarction that nearly killed him in mid-July. At the time he went into cardiac arrest, fiancee Omarosa Manigault performed CPR on him and saved his life. Despite her valiant effort, Duncan remained hospitalized until his death. The Green Mile actor died suddenly on Sunday. Sadly, the 38-year-old former Apprentice star had just left town for an event when Duncan passed away. Manigault's mom was with Duncan at the time of his death. Duncan's spokesperson issued the following statement, "[Omarosa] Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date." Adding to the tragedy is that Manigualt had actually been planning a wedding for January, insiders tell TMZ. Supposedly, friends and family knew about the secret engagement, although it had been kept out of the news. Manigault is absolutely crushed over Duncan's death. She told Radaronline.com, "I am devastated. He was the love of my life." Many Hollywood's A-list celebrities are also speaking out about Duncan's untimely passing. The 6'5" actor, who got his start working as a bodyguard for Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Jamie Foxx, LL Cool J and Notorious B.I.G. made a big impression on his fellow celebs. Green Mile co-star Tom Hanks told Entertainment Tonight, "I am terribly saddened at the loss of Big Mike. He was the treasure we all discovered on the set of The Green Mile. He was magic. He was a big love of man and his passing leaves us stunned." Extra host Mario Lopez Tweeted, "One of the nicest and most professional guys I've had the pleasure of knowing. So sad." After Duncan's breakout role in Green Mile, he went on to appear in Armageddon, Planet of the Apes, Kung Fu Panda and Sin City.
