I love Tyler Perry! As far as I'm concerned, he's the definition of genuine talent: He's an actor, writer, producer, director, humanitarian, talent scout; and an amazing man who rose up & became successful despite of his past. This wonderful man embodies what EVERY entertainer/celebrity should aspire to be like. I hope he continues to keep us all entertained for the next 50+ years!! Votes: +5

Unfortunately, Tyler Perry DID NOT produce this film. Foryou to be a "journalist/editor/blogger" the first thing you should know is to do your research - and clearly you did NOT. Is it safe to say that because it was a "black" movie - TP had to have produced it? WTF? DO your homework - then maybe you can get some respect - The Mmvie was AWESOME and was made by Tim Story with Steve Harvey's MONEY! nothing came from TP's CAMP - seriously? Votes: +3

I am so glad they fixed the error. I just came back to this article today to see if they had fixed their mistake. Steve Harvey has been brilliantly marketing his movie through his morning radio show and other venues. I have not yet seen the movie, but have read the book. I think people could take it too seriously. However I totally agree with you Cyn, TP is not the only black man to write/produce/direct etc. a prodominatly black movie. Sad they did not get their facts straight. I wonder why there was not something from Steve's camp. They must no know this was out there. MDM, please do your homework before publishing. I also agree with you Mama_C, a movie about children killing children is not something I would want to read or see in the theater. Votes: +2
