It looks like Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden is putting his wife's exorbitant spending habits to bed. While most women might blow some serious dough on clothing, jewelry or shoes, Madden's gripes stemmed from wife Nicole Richie's purchase of pillows, a purchase which obviously ruffled his feathers. According to Usmagazine.com, Madden lost some serious sleep when his wife spent a whopping $3,000 on pillows. The 31-year-old father-of-two Tweeted, "Do you ever look at your credit card bill and ask your wife how the hell she could spend 3 thousand dollars on pillows? I do. PILLOWS." Richie calmly replied "That's why I ignore your calls." But the pillow talk didn't end there. Madden continued his rant about the overpriced pillows Tweeting, "I mean, can't we just go to Target and get our pillows??? [Shaking My Head]." In the end it looks like he came out the victor as he laid the argument to rest saying, "Needless to say, the pillows are going back to the expensive ass pillow store. Hope she likes the Target pillows I'm putting in their place!...Trust me the pillows were gone before i even tweeted!" Madden later told a pal on Twitter that he assumed the pillows must be something special for $3,000. He said, "I was thinking they must be made from unicorn manes or some s***." Madden might find those Target pillows useful... when he's sleeping on the couch.
