Being Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi's boyfriend is a dangerous job. Just ask wannabe Jeff Miranda. Although he is an Iraq war veteran, Miranda is apparently unaccustomed to being in the line of fire. Since becoming infamous, the Jersey Shore jack-ass has become public enemy number one. He tells Radaronline.com, "You should see my Facebook and emails. Every day I get people sending me angry messages. I've had death threats on more than one occasion." We're certain the threats have more to do with the fact that Miranda is a total d-bag than the fact that he's dating a certain pint-sized Italian (Chilean, actually) princess. Miranda says that the flurry of reports accusing of everything from domestic violence to frequenting swingers clubs to using Snooki are all unfounded. In fact, he maintains that people from his past are just trying to profit off of Miranda's overnight fame. Hello, pot -- meet kettle. Says Miranda, "I guess I've made a few enemies in my past and now that I'm on television, people feel the need to come out of the woodwork and try to make money off me." As for the death threats, Miranda chalks them up to the fact that he's always been a real ladies' man, "It's people I knew back at school I guarantee it! I've pissed some people off and it's probably some guy who found out I hooked up with his ex."
