It might seem a bit surreal, but Verne Troyer, better known on the Hollywood circuit as Mini-Me, has been slapped with a restraining order by former beauty queen Yvette Monet, who at one time dated the hard-partying Austin Powers actor. According to Radaronline.com, Monet is in fear for her life, since Troyer continues to harass her, despite her attempts to sever ties with him. Although the couple called it quits months ago, Troyer has supposedly been sending her threatening texts stating she better watch her back. He has also told her that he has friends with guns that will do anything for him. In her request, she asked that Troyer be required to stay away from her, her workplace, her home and her vehicle. In short, she doesn't want him anywhere around her. Of course, Troyer is feeling a bit miffed over the whole thing. His lawyer Ed McPherson told TMZ that Mini is "shocked and appalled," and that these are "false and frivolous accusations."

BUT - you can't be too sure in H'wood as to exactly WHAT can happen to a woman; remember Rihanna??
