Mel Gibson's Ailing Father Files for Divorce

Hutton Gibson is proving you're never too old to call it quits. The 93-year-old father of actor Mel Gibson is trying to unload his wife of 10 years, Teddy Joye Gibson. Obviously, the troubles must be pretty serious if the devout Catholic is going against his religious beliefs, which don't support divorce. He was previously married to wife Anne with whom he had 11 children and 50 grandchildren. She passed away in 1990. According to TMZ, the Gibson patriarch says his current wife is guilty of elder abuse. Hutton is reportedly suffering from a bunch of serious ailments that require a host of medications. Insiders tell TMZ that Teddy Joye believes it's her husband's time and that he doesn't want to be force-fed a bunch of pills. The 56-year-old Beaver actor has now entered the fray and is working diligently to get Teddy Joye out of his dad's home. He is also making sure Hutton gets all his meds. TMZ says a war between Teddy Joye and the Gibson family is brewing. This means Mel should probably avoid having yet another angry rant recorded.
