Finally! After what seemed like the longest, largest pregnancy ever, Jessica Simpson has given birth to a baby girl. On Tuesday, May 1, Simpson and fiancé Eric Johnson welcomed not-so-little Maxwell Drew Johnson, who weighed in at 9 pounds, 13 ounces and was 21 3/4 inches long. There's no word on where the name Maxwell comes from, but rumor has it that the couple want to call their new daughter Maxi for short. And Drew is Jessica's mom Tina's maiden name. TMZ reported that Tina, sister Ashlee and other family members reported to the L.A. hospital where Simpson gave birth early Tuesday morning. Simspon issued the following statement on her Web site: "Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby girl Maxwell Drew Johnson. We are so grateful for all of the love, support and prayers we have received. This has been the greatest experience of our lives."
