The world was shocked to see a stunning photo of 15-year-old Lourdes puffing away on a cigarette. But nobody more so than her own mother -- Madonna. The 53-year-old queen of pop partially blames herself for the teen picking up the nasty habit. In a recent interview with Harry Smith of Rock Center, the "MDNA" singer admits her girl's gone wild because she doesn't run a tight enough ship. Madonna recalls seeing the startling pic, "[I] wasn't very happy. But honestly, I don't think I'm as tough as I should be [on my kids]. I think I need to be maybe tougher. It's hard -- every day is a negotiation." Madonna plays single mom to Lourdes, as well as 11-year-old Rocco, 6-year-old David and 5-year-old Mercy. Despite the fact that Madonna is seen smoking in her new "Girls Gone Wild" video, Madonna says she's not a fan of anyone being a butted, "But cigarette smoking I'm not very fond of for anyone. I don't approve of anyone smoking cigarettes -- most of all, my daughter." When Smith pointed out that Madonna herself lights up in the video, she retorted, "I don't smoke. That's just an accessory, Harry. There's a difference. [Lourdes] smoked that cigarette before I did that video!" Talk about leading by example.
